With the ever increasing field of IT, more educational institutes are realizing the influence that they hold. Both high school and secondary education are beginning to offer courses for IT certifications or are substituting credit for past and future certifications. They are allowing the passing of tests for certifications and the requirements to obtain one to be the standards for their own courses. It is also inspiring those interested in an IT career, career options that may not been previously offered are now more widely available. Having the courses available allows for introduction of potential career paths for high school students and offers advancement for professionals working towards a degree.
Having experience will only get you so far in this field, additional education is often seeked by future employers. Most now are requiring a degree for higher level jobs, especially those in management. Not only will it help for future experience, but the added knowledge will give you an advantage over other potential applicants.
Here at ASM Educational Center, Inc., all of our classes are able to count as educational credits for a degree at Strayer University. These classes include A+, Network+, Security+, MCSA, MCSE, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, and CCIE. The available credits range anywhere from 2-10, depending on the class. For more information contact us.
