Overview: The Cisco CCENT (Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician) certification validates the skills required for entry-level network support positions, the starting point for many successful careers in networking. Candidates should have the knowledge and skill to install, operate and troubleshoot a small enterprise branch network, including basic network security. CCENT certification is the first step toward achieving CCNA, which covers medium size enterprise branch networks with more complex connections.

Minimum passing score	Cisco® Passing scores are set by using statistical analysis and are subject to change. At the completion of the exam, candidates receive a score report along with a score breakout by exam section and the passing score for the given exam. Cisco does not publish exam passing scores because exam questions and passing scores are subject to change without notice.

Prerequisite: Cisco® doesn't establish prerequisites for CCENT® Certification but we strongly advice the students to acquire good networking knowledge before trying this certification. Description: The Cisco® CCENT® Certification Authorized Training focuses on providing the skills and knowledge necessary to implement and support a small switched and routed network. For the purpose of this course, a small network is defined as 1-20 hosts connected to a single switch with the switch running a single VLAN. The switch is also connected to a router that is providing a routed link (RIP & default) to a simulated Internet and corporate office. Upon completion of this training course, you will be able to select, connect, configure, and troubleshoot the various Cisco networking devices.
