Cisco® CCIE® Certification

Overview: Cisco® Certified Internetwork Expert - CCIE® - is the Cisco's highest level certifications. CCIE® Certification identifies the upper echelon of networking experts worldwide. CCIE certification is attained in five technical specialties referred to as tracks: Routing and Switching, Security, Service Provider, Storage Networking and Voice. CCIE® certified professionals are an elite group; there are less then 13,000 around the world today. Less than 3% of Cisco® certified professionals become CCIE®. It's the most desirable certification by the networking professionals. And it's worth!

ASM is an authorized VUE and Prometric Testing Center. For your convenience you can take the CCIE® written exam in a large, comfortable and quiet testing room with no previous appointment.
The Lab exam are offered only at selected Cisco® locations worldwide.

The Cisco® CCIE® Certification Training

Prerequisite: There are no formal prerequisites for CCIE® certification. Candidates must first pass a written qualification exam and then the corresponding hands-on lab exam. The candidate is expected to have an in-depth understanding of the topics in the exam blueprints and strongly encouraged to have 3 to 5 years of job experience before attempting certification. Highly recommended proof of CCNP® Certification or equivalent knowledge.

Description: This is a progressive boot camp training program, designed to prepare CCNP certified professionals for CCIE Written and Lab Exams.
It's divided in 2 modules:

CIERS-1 v1.0 - Cisco 360 CCIE R&S Advanced Workshop 1
It's the first of two 5-day, extended hours, workshops. It includes Instructor Led lessons, a lab guide and hands-on labs on specific topics, as well as Assessment labs, including instructor time and feedback to provide student mentoring and support. Students will learn how to use an expert-level problem-solving process that includes options analysis to support complex network technologies and topologies. This course is part of a blended learning curriculum that supports expert-level preparation in routing and switching.

Objectives: Upon completing this course, learners will be able to meet these objectives:

Describe the Cisco 360 Learning Program for CCIE R&S and explain how it addresses expert-level networking issues
Discuss your baseline status for Cisco CCIE® lab readiness
Resolve expert-level core task analysis and configuration issues
Resolve expert-level BGP issues
Resolve expert-level multicast task analysis and configuration issues
Resolve expert-level IP connectivity issues regardless of whether they involve IPv4 or IPv6
Resolve expert-level router MQC QoS task analysis and configuration issues
Resolve expert-level multi-topic core and advanced task analysis and configuration issues

CIERS-2 v1.0 - Cisco 360 CCIE R&S Advanced Workshop 2
It's the second of two 5-day, extended hours, workshops. It's a lab intensive course. Students will learn how to use an expert-level problem-solving process including Options Analysis to support complex network technologies and topologies. This course is part of a blended learning curriculum that supports expert-level preparation in routing and switching.

Objectives: Upon completing this course, the learner will be able to meet these overall objectives:

Perform expert-level tasks involving Frame Relay and switched Ethernet networks
Perform expert-level tasks involving RIP version 2, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), and Open Shortest Path First (OSPF)
Perform expert-level tasks for route redistribution
Perform expert-level tasks for Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
Perform expert-level tasks for IP multicast
Perform expert-level tasks for IP version 6 unicast connectivity
Perform expert-level tasks for router quality of service (QoS) using the Modular QoS CLI (MQC)
Perform expert-level tasks for Cisco Catalyst 3560 Series QoS
