Cisco® GWGK® Certification

Overview: The Cisco Gateway Gatekeeper 642-453 GWGK is the exam associated with the CCVP certification. Candidates can prepare for this exam by taking the Gateway Gatekeeper (GWGK) course. This exam tests a candidate's knowledge of the implementation of Cisco gateways and gatekeepers, including integration of a VoIP network to both PSTN and TDM equipment. Topics covered include implementing dial plans and advanced gateway features such as SRST and DSP resources, implementing gatekeepers and directory gatekeepers to provide hierarchical dial plan resolution, and call admission control.

Minimum passing score	Cisco® Passing scores are set by using statistical analysis and are subject to change. At the completion of the exam, candidates receive a score report along with a score breakout by exam section and the passing score for the given exam. Cisco does not publish exam passing scores because exam questions and passing scores are subject to change without notice.

The Cisco® GWGK® Certification Authorized Training

Prerequisite: - CCNA certification status or equivalent knowledge working with Cisco IOS routers; - CVOICE 5.0 or equivalent knowledge working with voice technologies in routers. - CIPT1 4.1 or 5.0 or equivalent work experience programming CallManager 4.1 or 5.0.

Description: The Cisco® GWGK® Certification Authorized Training goal is to provide students with information and practice activities to prepare them to install, configure, monitor and troubleshoot Cisco voice gateways and gatekeepers in Enterprise installations, in accord with the recommendations of Cisco's Solution Reference Network Design for IP Telephony guides.
