Overview: The Technology Specialist certifications enable professionals to target specific technologies and to distinguish themselves by demonstrating in-depth knowledge and expertise in their specialized technologies. Microsoft Certified Technology Specialists are consistently capable of implementing, building, troubleshooting, and debugging a particular Microsoft technology.

Audience: A Windows Windows 7 technology specialist is defined as a technology specialist interested in learning about, assessing skills, using reference products, or taking exams to prove his or her knowledge/skills/experience related to Microsoft’s Windows Windows 7 technologies, for supporting end users with network connectivity, security, application installation, and compatibility issues.

The Microsoft MCTS Windows Windows 7 Certification Training Program

Prerequisite: Completion of A+ and Network+ or equivalent experience.

Description: There are currently 19 Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certifications, and more will become available as new technologies are introduced. This certification training program focuses on Microsoft Windows Windows 7 , preparing for the exam 70-680, where a varied number of questions will challenge both a candidates understanding of Windows Windows 7 and its differences between Windows XP. Candidates will be expected to understand many of the new features and important aspects of the new Windows 7 features, such as optimization, the Aero desktop, and mobile computing.
