2008 Scholarship Program Offer
ASM is excited to offer $150,000.00 in scholarships for the 2008 calendar year.


Eligibility
Students applying for scholarships must be enrolled or planning to enroll at ASM Educational Center, Inc. Scholarships will be granted to qualifying participants on the basis of “first come, first served.” There are only (75) $2,000.00 scholarships available for the 2008 calendar year.

International Students are not eligible for our Scholarship Benefit Program. To be eligible for our Scholarship Benefit program, the student must be an United States Permanent Resident.


Scholarship Criteria/Provisions

► The scholarship will cover $2,000.00 of the student’s total tuition as published by ASM Educational Center, Inc. Course applicability is limited (see listing below)

► Students are limited to one scholarship per year, but may apply for scholarships in consecutive years

► All scholarship applicants must attend courses at ASM

► The scholarship may be applied to the cost of tuition and books only

► Scholarships are solely applicable to courses offered at ASM Educational Center, Inc. and are otherwise non-transferable

► Scholarships are non-refundable



Scholarships can be applied to the following ASM course:

► CISSP (Information Security Certification)

To qualify, you possess an A+, or Network+, or equivalent certification, or have equivalent years of experience in the field and meet one or more of the following criteria:

►You are a participant in Workforce Investment Act (WIA) program(s); OR

►You are a University/College staff or student with valid University/College picture ID; OR

►You are an active/retired/returning military/government personnel; OR

►You are an ASM student (former or current); OR

►You are a member of a faith-based organization with a valid letter from the organization stating that his/her membership is current and in good standing

To apply for an ASM Educational Center, Inc. Scholarship:

  1. Submit a completed ASM Scholarship Application
  2. Submit verification of A+ or Network+ (or equivalent) certification or equivalent experience;
  3. Submit verification of meeting at least one of qualification criteria above (such as WIA participant, or current university faculty/staff/student, or ASM student, or military/government personnel, or current member of faith-based organization), AND
  4. Have completed an ASM Enrollment Agreement for CISSP
